It was good a good place to take the kids. Friendly service and has an outdoor window.

Nothing special....I ordered a simple sundae with oreo ice cream which our waitress repeated back to me. I get my sundae ....vanilla ice cream. I spill my water....she never brings a new water. The waitstaff has many regulars in....you can see a difference in service with tourists. The place is bright and clean and the staff is friendly....there are just better choices for the price.

My favorite place to get Breakfast anytime I'm in Newport, RI. The prices are just right and set to meet anyone's budget. The staff is extremely aimed to please, the bathrooms are always immaculate, and the best part of the place is of course the ice cream. One thing that let me down though is that they serve canned Mushrooms for your omelette vice fresh. Creamery managing staff and owner please use fresh ingredients.

Best Breakfast. Good.people... You will never find better homefries.. Recently their side order just dropped the bowl size to half.. Upset :( .. haha order two :) .. Back.again and was great.. 11/26/17...back again. My pictures doesnt seem to be working so well. Ok so HERE is today some picts on Sat. The 16th of dec. I came again and times in between. 2 days ago on Feb on the 20th the food for the first time was awful. I asked to have it fixed and no problem at all. The fried potatoes my favorite. They were just so hard you couldn't feel or see potatoes in them. Lol. For coming here at least 20 times in 2 and a half months and only complaint once. For an accident. Well I think it's great!!!

Was looking for a good breakfast at reasonable price and this place was recommendred by hotel staff. It was good and service was excellent. Went back for Ice Cream in the afternoon. Loved it!

Wonderful fresh ice cream . Good service . Takeout window outside. We ate inside at the bar m. We had a lovely waitress. Quick-service . Ice cream was brought within a few minutes!

Since arriving in Newport, this place has been consistent on food, service and quality. The diner atmosphere is alive and well with this cozy little staple in the city of Newport. The servers are very friendly ABC's attentive. What more can you ask for in a place as far as hospitality goes. The food is your typical diner fare but tastefully done which is great because since arriving the so-called hot spots have not been good and fairly inconsistent. Newport Creamery is a constant pick me up with a great staff, good food and a great diner atmosphere.

While the decor shouts former “Friendlys Restaurant “, And the menu is your typical American Faire (don’t misinterpret that... I absolutely enjoy that cheeseburger!), I would have rated it three (3.5 if possible) stars if it were not for the exceptional staff. And I have to give kudos to the fact that they are the ONLY restaurant that has actually taken a name and number in the event there should be a COVID case, they are able to contact you.

Ice cream was melting as soon as it was handed to me, had to continuously scramble to keep it from making as mess, so didn't get to enjoy it as much as I would have liked.

Customer service was horrible. Four workers were inside and none of them would take my order. There was one worker that was doing all the work. The other worker was doing absolutely nothing. I work customer service and this is UNACCEPTABLE. My family and I were looking forward to supporting a local business during COVID 19; they did not want our business. I waited, and waited, and waited. Two vehicles left including ours due to the terrible customer service and long wait. It was cold out too and I was freezing. Can't wait till Frosty Freez opens. At least I know I will get good customer service there.

Very disorganised. There weren't many people waiting on orders but all the staff inside were running around flustered and making mistakes on orders. Several orders were filled ahead of others that were already taken. Staff was coming out to take orders ahead of people waiting at the window. The food was decent. But for the little bit we ordered (4 items) the total was just over 20 dollars. The quality did not justify the price. To their credit, everyone was wearing masks.

Ice cream was nice, but the wait was unnecessary. There was adequate staff but did not have a good system for moving the line.

Who doesn’t love a good ice cream sandwich? Was craving one so I stopped by hoping they offered such a treat. They do and were able to do two different flavors for those who are indecisive. The cookies were tasty, though a bit hard, and would be better if they were chewier. Otherwise, delicious!

Strarted eating here in the 70s as a child and to this day the restaurant has always remained consistently great. The food & service are fantastic! The icecream second to none !!

Great grilled cheese with bacon. Friendly, quick service. Fast with refills and checking in on me. Have to come back here in the summer to try the cold treats.

You can get a great malt and a lot of great ice cream choices

Food was fresh and tasty! Clean inside and out. Service was good. Hamburgers were real burgers not frozen patties and prices were very reasonable. Can't go wrong.

You can actually sit down and have dinner in the restaurant. Everbody goes to the creamery, well known and very friendly atmosphere.

I'm from out of town and this place was the first food place we had seen with a line outside so we were like 'what the heck' turns out they had a special buy one get one. The server Jennifer was so nice she reccomend the chicken salad and ice cream for the kids. The people were friendly and food was good.

The ice cream here is just so good! I got the butter crunch and blueberry in a waffle cone and was so sad when it was all gone. Sometimes there is a really long line. This place is Poppin!

An average of $ 10 the burger very reasonable and actually quite good burger. I Like the place, has a home and cozy feel. Service was good and quick!Like the cheese on both sides of the burger so it’s not dry! Unlike what the negative reviews say it’s good value and good food.

First time having fish and chips. Wasn't disappointed! The service was great and people were friendly. They have separate areas for dining and the ice cream shop, if you'd rather be in one or the other area. You can order the same way on either side.

This place has really great ice cream. A wide variety of flavors, friendly staff, reasonable prices and good parking. If you are ever in the Middletown, Rhode Island area, this place is a must try for delicious frozen treats.

I've never had an awful awful before and this one was the best. Had the coffee flavor. Definitely a great dessert. The staff and customers were friendly (as they should be at an ice cream stand). Also had frozen pudding and butter crunch or something like that. All were good.

A must stop if you're in Newport. We got 2 of their specialty flavors, Mint and S'Mores. They both were unbelievable and unparalleled. The only problem was that it was so hot out we had to eat it too quickly. I should have gotten it in a cup instead of a cone.

Great lunch and Ice cream place! They offer sweet potato fries with their bacon burgers, which is a plus. Servers were friendly and helpful. Family Friendly!!

Very friendly staff and bright, colorful surroundings. The food is good but not to everyone's taste. Both I and another member of our group had the fish and fries, I liked them but she didn't. My wife liked her chicken strips and sweet potato fries but her cousin was disappointed with her burger.

It’s a diner, and I definitely couldn’t eat there too frequently, but if you know what you’re getting and you’re in the mood for it, it hits the spot. They have a mozzarella stick grilled cheese. They basically have lots of grilled cheese. The fries are delicious. They also have takeout ice cream counters inside and out. They have awful awfuls, which are a milk base with some add ins, and it stand for awful good and awful big or something like that. They can also make milkshakes from any of the ice creams on the menu. The staff was great, friendly, attentive. It’s a big place with plenty of seating, so I’d think it’s a good bet to get a quick meal and a seat without much of a wait. There’s plenty of parking in their lot. I wouldn’t go for health food, but it’s a great comfort food spot.

Ive been a lover of Newport Creamery since i was a little girl. I had my first banana split there on my First Commumion Day. Today was wonderful. Gal who served me was first rate. Thks

Not something that you need to try. There wasn't anything that blew my mind. It's kind of like your typical ihop or Denny's

The brownie sundae was pretty good, but I waited in line for over 30 minutes. Could have probably baked a brownie in that amount of time.

Good but huge servings of ice cream. Why so massive? Look at a hot fudge sundae?

Nothing special and very rude staff. I wouldn't go again.

It was good but slow service.

Started & ended our mini vacay in with the Creamery. My SO ranted about this place as it was a place that him & his family always go to every time they visit Newport for the summer. The Bellevue location is temporarily closed due to COVID & should open back up in January. Mondays are BOGO on the awful awful of equal or lesser value. Food was good - Almost "diner" like. Limited seating due to COVID. They did take our name/number at the door. Wait staff was friendly the 3x we stopped in for food/awful awful.

Understaffed for covid. Breakfast took 45 min to come out. Need a revamp here. Deon is sweet.

Though the ice cream was good but there are definitely better quality small shops put there
